As per request from European Commission, in order to make sure the on board equipment safety and protect the marine environment from pollution, it effective from 3 Oct 2022, the firefighting radios use on ships must approved to the latest MED (Marine Equipment Directive 2014/90/EU), it request must marked with the MED mark which is the “wheel mark” as below:
